TALK WITH DR. LUQUE: JOURNEY TO ACQUIRING HER PHD AND INSIGHT FOR PRE-HEALTH STUDENTS

Dr. Luque will be talking about her journey to acquiring her PhD and providing insights for Pre-Health students. Dr. Luque teaches various biology courses at TCU. In addition to teaching, Luque also serves as the global health coordinator for TCU’s Pre-Health Professions Institute. Dr. Luque is dedicated to shaping students into lifelong learners and is deeply committed to fostering a supportive community for underrepresented students at TCU. This event will be at 6:30 pm on September 10th at RJH 210. All prehealth students are welcome. We hope to see you there!

Mission Statement: Our purpose is to provide underrepresented pre-med students with knowledge, skills, and experiences that are both prerequisite & concomitant to professional participation in healthcare fields to improve minority student matriculation into all professional health-related programs, with an emphasis on medicine. To encourage culturally conscious physicians by increasing awareness of underrepresented communities' disparities.
