JAPAN NIGHT 2026 at TCU
The AddRan Asian Studies program and Japanese Language and Culture Association (JLCA) invite you to Japan Night 2026: Japanese Fashion, Cuisine, and Contemporary Arts, which will take place on April 23, 2026, from 6:00-8:00pm! This event will be largest Japan-related event at TCU and will include live performances, delicious food, calligraphy, kimono try-on booths, make-your-own ikebana, make-your-own sakura cherry blossom wine bottle art, anime trivia and Japanese games, and much more. Come have your name written in Japanese while you learn the proper way to wear a kimono! The event is completely free and family friendly! We are thrilled to host members of the Fort Worth Japanese Society and the Ryukyu Damashii Okinawa Dancers.
Japan Night will be in the Neeley Business School, Hays Banquet Hall (2nd floor). Students, especially those coming back from Japan through the Neeley Global Business/Supply Chain programs, the JVRHC “Games in Japan” summer program, and those embarking on their Japan abroad through Criminal Justice, are encouraged to come experience Japanese culture at TCU this April 23, 2026.
Be sure to follow this event and others during AAPINH heritage month @tcu_asianstudies. Questions? Contact the Director of Asian Studies, Dr. Ben Hiramatsu Ireland, b.ireland@tcu.edu.
