The purpose of the Clinical Research Society is to: - Inspire and support students with an interest in clinical or scientific research by helping them develop the knowledge, skills, and passion necessary for success in the field. - Foster connections between pre-health students and professional schools, bridging the gap between undergraduate and advanced medical education. - Build a strong network among undergraduate students, medical students, and faculty, encouraging collaboration and mentorship. - Promote and cultivate a deeper interest in both clinical and basic research. The Clinical Research Society will offer: - Networking events to help members build meaningful connections with peers, professionals, and faculty in the research field. - Workshops focused on teaching members how to write academic papers, conduct clinical research, and develop essential research skills. - A mentorship program connecting medical students from the Burnett School of Medicine with undergraduate students who are interested in clinical or scientific research, fostering collaboration and guidance. - Co-publication opportunities that allow members to collaborate and publish academic papers, providing real-world experience in research dissemination.
