About The Horned Frog Yearbook

Yearbook Portrait Days
The Horned Frog is a 500-page, full-color book that covers academics, athletics, organizations, fraternity and sorority life, student life, and all of the people on campus. It is the only official ongoing history of TCU. Each yearbook also features a 90-minute movie-style DVD that covers all events, organizations, and athletics on campus. The yearbook and DVD are completely student-produced. Our staff meets weekly, maintains office hours, and covers nearly every facet of campus. The Horned Frog is produced on Apple computers utilizing the Adobe Creative Suite, and is printed by Taylor Publishing Company in Dallas. Our video is edited using Final Cut HD Studio Pro. Even though the covers and layouts have changed over the years, the yearbook staff continues to maintain the same goal - to preserve the University’s history and traditions. Over 100 years later, the yearbook staff has continued the same way of preserving history. TCU was among the very first universities to have a DVD format available. The yearbook office has one of the best collections of TCU’s history - displaying books dating back over 100 years. The Horned Frog family is invited to come to the office and flip through the books that we house. Seeing Horned Frogs from decades ago really brings into perspective the meaning of being a Horned Frog forever.
