The Scope of Computer Science ft. TCU Faculty

The Scope of Computer Science Speaker Series is designed to help students explore the diverse career paths and disciplines within computing. Hosted by Women in Computer Science (WiCS) at TCU, this event brings together professors and industry professionals to share insights into specialized fields such as software engineering, data science, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and UI/UX design.

Through a series of short, engaging talks followed by an open Q&A session, students will gain a clearer understanding of how each area connects to real-world applications and future opportunities. Whether you’re an underclassman still discovering your interests or an upperclassman considering your next steps, this event offers an inside look into the many directions a computer science degree can take you.
