Obama-ology

Obamatology

Sunday Feb 24 | 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Join IIS as we visit the historic Jubilee Theater to experience Obama-ology. What is Obama-ology? It’s the story of a young African American college graduate working for Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign, who lands in the streets of East Cleveland somewhere between knocking on doors, fending off cops, and questioning his own racial and sexual identity. He learns that changing society isn’t as easy as he imagined. The stunning new play demonstrates the resilience of the human spirit to overcome defeat at the hands of social repression and financial hardship.
