Insights from the Generative AI Classroom: Adventures in Teaching & Learning

Friday Mar 31 | 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm

ChatGPT. DALL-E. Odds are good you’ve heard of them and that you’re:

1. Deeply concerned about their use in the classroom
2. Excited about their potential application in the classroom
3. An ambivalent mix of a 1 & 2 (i.e. somewhere between terrified and tantalized)

Well, no matter where you fall, you’re not alone! That’s why your pals at the Center for Digital Expression (CDEx) have decided to host “Insights from the Generative AI Classroom: Adventures in Teaching & Learning” on Friday, March 31, from 12:30 to 2 pm, both in Moudy 132 North and through Zoom (link available soon). During the session, colleagues from the English department, Fine Arts, and the Koehler Center will share their experiences so far exploring these transformative tools. We’ll also hear from a friend of the CDEx who has a background in software engineering and computational linguistics.

However you plan to attend, please let us know to expect you by registering here: https://cdex.tcu.edu/programs/signup/. Please feel free to indicate “Zoom” or “Moudy North 132” on the registration form under the final question “Anything else you’d like us to know?”
