Frost Foundation Lecture, featuring Leymah Gbowee

The Center for International Studies will host Ms. Leymah Gbowee as the 2018 Frost Foundation Lecturer. Ms. Gbowee received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2011 for her work in leading an interfaith women’s movement that brought an end to the Second Liberian Civil War. Her public lecture on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 5:30 in the BLUU Ballroom will focus on women’s role in peace & reconciliation and bridging religious divides in times of conflict. Attendees will have the chance to enter a raffle for a special prize from Leymah!
