Black and Brown Unity

Since our inception on December 1, 1975, Lambda Theta Phi has grown coast to coast as the first and largest Latin fraternity in the United States. Founded at Kean University, in Union, New Jersey, our 14 Founding Fathers congregated with the vision to unite all Latinos regardless of nationality. Today, Lambda prides itself on its multi-cultural brotherhood of gentlemen from different creeds, nationalities, and religious beliefs. Our brothers, nationwide, stay true to our mottos “En la union, esta la fuerza”/”In unity, there is strength” and “Chivalry Above Self,” and set the precedent of what it means to be fraternal men, gentlemen, and role models in the community.
