About Student Identity & Engagement

BHM: HBCU Impact – Legacy of Paul Quinn College
The mission of the unit of Student Identity and Engagement is to promote diversity, inclusiveness, and cultural awareness throughout the TCU community. Student Identity and Engagement also provides students of diverse backgrounds with the necessary resources to transition into college life and succeed on campus and beyond. The department provides support, guidance, and encouragement to TCU students, faculty and staff through a variety of services: cultural programming, mentoring, diversity training, and academic/community involvement. Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to assist with planning events and programs. In addition to student services, Student Identity and Engagement assists the University with institutional planning and policy formation regarding diversity and inclusiveness.
