Bailando Culture

Thursday Oct 16 | 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Bailando Culture is a short film documentary that captures the story of tradition, community, and heritage through the art of Ballet Folklorico. The film follows Claudia Tiffany Rodriguez—a dancer, cultural leader, and the creator of TCU’s first-ever Ballet Folklorico major—as she shares how dance serves as both a preservation of culture and a platform for inspiring future generations.

Through the voices of family, professors, and community leaders, her story reflects resilience and the power of cultural preservation. With vivid performances and heartfelt storytelling, Bailando Culture highlights the importance of honoring those who came before while inspiring those yet to come.

This special event will include a reception, film screening, and a panel conversation featuring voices from the community and TCU. Presented in collaboration with Blissful Sky Studio, Arcpoint Studios, and supported by Fort Worth and TCU partners, the evening offers an opportunity to reflect, celebrate, and engage with Ballet Folklorico as a living tradition that continues to shape and strengthen community.
