A@Noon Women Influencers

Asia@Noon: Women Influencers in Asian Religions

Friday Dec 2 | 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Come join us for our last Asia@Noon lecture for this fall semester! Each month, an Asian Studies faculty will present on a topic from their research or teaching to share with the TCU community. This last Asia@Noon faculty talk will feature Dr. Antoinette DeNapoli (Dept. of Religion) and two nursing students, Alexandra Farmer and Grace Haisila, who will talk about the hit seminar “Women Influencers in Asian Religions.”
Our colleagues will talk about their experiences in this class, which explores holy women’s experiences of the sacred and their spiritual leadership in Asian societies. This class offers insight into women’s religious leadership, especially in societies in which women are conditioned to be subordinate.

Gourmet pizza lunch will be provided by Mama’s. Please RSVP to b.ireland@tcu.edu by November 29th to reserve your spot

When is the event? In person on Friday 12/2 at noon in SCHAR 1008. Come join us, and enjoy the fellowship as we learn over lunch!
