Anthems of Resistance

An interdisciplinary student organization that seeks to examine ancient and modern history and apply it to current political and cultural practices, both international and domestic. The purpose of such an examination is to discover and confront ethnocentric biases within our national policies, media, curriculum, and ultimately ourselves. An intentional shift in perspective to the grander scheme of international history and relations, simultaneously decentering and scrutinizing the Western tradition, paves the way for the creation of better-informed, justice-oriented, thoughtful, and considerate global citizens.
