2024 LCpl Benjamin W. Schmidt Symposium on War, Conflict, and Society

The 2024 LCpl Benjamin W. Schmidt Symposium on War, Conflict, and Society will focus on Korea: The First Forever War, with participants considering the causes, experiences, and long-lasting consequences of a war that has yet to officially end.

The keynote address, given by Dr. Dawn Alexandrea Berry, will focus on the efforts of the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) to find, identify, and repatriate the remains of servicemembers from the Korean War. Saturday’s panels will feature a group of world-renowned scholars who will share their expertise on the topic.
