Come join the Chinese Club in the Intercultural Center as we celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival! There will be snacks and drinks provided as we showcase traditional activities.
The Chinese chess workshop is a fun and engaging way to learn about one of China’s oldest and most popular board games, Xiangqi. Snacks and drinks are provided.
You will be given the opportunity to practice your newly acquired skills by playing against other participants in friendly games. This not only helps to reinforce the concepts and strategies learned during the workshop but also provides an enjoyable social experience.
By the end of the workshop, you will gain a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and history and the skills necessary to play Chinese chess with confidence and enjoyment. You may even leave with a newfound love for the game and a desire to continue playing!
