UNLF Social Media Promotion Flyer

It’s not too late to register for Introduction to University Life (UNLF 10211)!

Tuesday Jul 16 - Aug 23 | 8:00 am - 11:45 pm

This one-hour course for first-semester students provides knowledge and skills to help students successfully transition into the academic community at TCU. With an Instructor and Peer Guide, students in the course explore the nature and purpose of higher education, critical thinking, goal-setting, time-management and stress-management, campus resources, and learning in a diverse community, among other topics.

– Counts as a 1-hour credit
– Promotes academic success
– Provides mentorship from a Peer Guide (upper level student)
– Allows you to connect with other first-year students in an intimate classroom setting

There are 82 class sections available so choose the one that works best for you!

The entire campus community is invited to this year’s Chancellor’s Assembly on Saturday, Aug 20 at 8pm in Schollmaier Arena. Chancellor Boschini will bring together Academic Affairs, Student Affairs and student government leaders as we officially kick off the beginning of the new academic year and ceremoniously “pass the light of knowledge.” This new format for the Chancellor’s Assembly combines elements of our traditional convocation and a “state of the university address.” This year, the new Chancellor’s Assembly takes the place of our traditional convocation format.
