CREATE Workshop: Storytelling: How to Pitch for Funding

I would like to invite all interested students to join us at our LAST CREATE Accelerator Workshop, titled, “Storytelling: How to Pitch for Funding, this Friday, April 12th from 4-5pm in Rees-Jones Rm. 102. Seats are limited so please be sure to sign up. This workshop will be a deep dive into how you incorporate your story into your pitch to create a cohesive narrative that answers investors questions and effectively positions you to maximize your funding round.

This workshop will be taught by John Ciocca, the co-founder and CEO of Purple, a neobank for people with disabilities. Purple builds financial products that empower people with disabilities to spend, save and invest for a better life. Prior to Purple, John built youBelong — a social network for people with disabilities that was inspired by his brother, Christian, who has Down syndrome. In early 2022, John dropped out of college to become a Thiel Fellow.

John will be here in person this Friday to work with students at the workshop.
