Fall 2020 Graphic Design BFA Senior Exhibition
If we have learned one thing from this year and our college experience, it is that things will always be in FLUX. Change is inevitable and we have learned to not only navigate life’s obstacles and challenges, but grow from these experiences. Looking back at how far we have come in these last four years we have learned to TRUST THE PROCESS and embrace change. Change is inevitable but growth is optional, and ultimately we would not be the designers we are today without the struggles faced throughout this year. Four talented BFA seniors invite you to join us viewing the culmination of four-years of hard work at www.graphicdesignseniorshow.tcu.edu
While the close of our senior year will not be going as planned, our (apparently unlucky) graduating BFA class of 13 isn’t folding just yet. As a truly mixed deck ourselves, this graduating class is a full house of talent, with specialties in everything from branding, advertising, packaging, art direction, UX, and copywriting. We’re working with the cards we’ve been dealt, only now, we invite you to join us virtually by viewing the culmination of four-years of hard work at http://graphicdesignseniorshow.tcu.edu/

What is the relationship between the arts and social justice work at TCU?
To complete their fall residency at TCU, DNAWORKS co-directors Adam McKinney (Assistant
Professor of Dance, School for Classical & Contemporary Dance, TCU) and Daniel Banks invite all of TCU to join in a community-wide dialogue about the role of social justice work on TCU’s
campus—Where is it happening? Where is it not happening? Where do community members wish to see it happen?
Join us for a conversation about creativity, social change, and community responsibility. DNAWORKS is an award-winning, Fort Worth-based arts and service organization dedicated to dialogue and healing through the arts that has led similar conversations around the country as well as internationally.

HaMapah/The Map is a multi-media, genealogical dance journey that traces the intersectional histories of DNAWORKS Co-Director, dancer, and TCU Assistant Professor of Dance Adam
McKinney’s African, Jewish and Native American heritages. The piece, which weaves contemporary dance with archival footage, personal interviews, and American and Yiddish songs, explores connections to identity, culture, heritage, and community.
The performance is followed by a community dialogue during which DNAWORKS Co-Directors McKinney and Daniel Banks, Ph.D, director of the production, invite audience members to share their family stories and connections to themes of the piece.
