11AM–4PM
Moudy Gallery

Opening Reception: Come join us on April 27th to celebrate our hard work in Moudy Gallery from 6–8pm.

Amidst a revolution of automation, nine designers venture forth to preserve what cannot be replicated. Rooted in empathy and experience, heart and talent, our exhibition MUSES celebrates the enduring power of human creativity. As artificial intelligence rapidly reshapes the creative industry, this show affirms that design is more than simply output. We celebrate humanity not in opposition to technology, but in conversation with it. We lead with heart, preserve what is authentic, and carry the soul of design forward into the future.

JUROR
Tessa Granowski (b. Waco, TX) was raised in Dallas where she recently founded Nature of Things, an art-forward exhibition space located in the city’s Turtle Creek neighborhood—a stone’s throw from her childhood home. She enjoys fitting too much into her schedule on a regular basis and the pursuit of Texas cultural history, which she actively incorporates into the gallery’s otherwise emerging artist program. Previously, Granowski co-owned Brackett Creek Exhibitions, which operated spaces in Bozeman, Montana and New York from 2020-2024.

Moudy Gallery is located in the Moudy North Building, 2805 S. University Drive, Fort Worth, 76129. Gallery hours are Monday to Friday, 11am – 4pm, Saturday, 1 – 4pm, and by appointment. Marcy Davis: Understory

Friday Feb 27 | 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The Art Galleries at TCU are pleased to present Understory, featuring the thesis work of MFA Candidate Marcy Davis. Understory will be on view at Moudy Gallery February 25 – March 3 with an opening reception on Friday, February 27, 6-8 pm.

Understory examines how a body is never just a body. It is a structure held by skin, pressed against walls, sinking into the weight of land—a terrain, restless and alive with invisible life. At these intersections, edges collapse: flesh becomes landscape and architecture breathes like a body. This unfolds into an unsettled in-between where body and structure, inside and outside, intertwine.

Marcy Davis is an artist who received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture with a minor in glass from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2022. While in graduate school, Davis has exhibited in NXT Graduate Student Cohort In The Works at Dallas Contemporary. She has been internationally and locally recognized in Artist Talk Magazine, Glasstire, Fort Worth Magazine, and her work has been shown in spaces such as UNT CoLab, The Pool Near South Side, Arts Fort Worth, Create Arlington, and Gallery 414.

Moudy Gallery is located on the TCU campus at Moudy North Building, 2805 S. University Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76129. Regular opening hours are Monday to Friday 11am – 4pm, Saturdays 1-4pm, and by appointment. Admission is free and all are welcome. BFA Graphic Design Senior Exhibition

Monday Apr 28 - May 2 | 11:00 am - 4:00 pm

MOSAIC – 8 designers. 8 distinct perspectives.
A capstone exhibition that represents the culmination of our growth as graduating designers—a showcase of our individual identities, woven together into a unified whole through years of learning and growing. While each project is distinct, together they form a dynamic narrative that highlights the beauty of connection and collaboration. Through our work, we celebrate the diversity of voices, the power of design, and the growth we experienced along the way. This exhibition is more than the sum of its parts; it’s a reflection of who we are as individuals and as a collective. Each of us brings a unique facet to the table, and together we create something far greater than ourselves: a MOSAIC.

EVOLVE: BFA Graphic Design Senior Exhibition

Monday Dec 6 - Dec 10 | 11:00 am - 11:00 am

Change is inevitable, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy. Through our time in the design program, a lot changes, and fast. It looked… different than before. It stretched, molded, and formed the 11 of us to who we are today. It shaped the way we see design and persevere through even the hardest of seasons. We were given the option to shrink back and stay stagnant or to go boldly and face change. We dared to grow. We dared to Evolve.
