About theCrew

Project Linus
theCrew is a behind the scenes group that implements events for students at TCU, making the live music, movies, wild animals, video games, art and other chaotic events go off up to three times a day! Every Monday, our massive group meets up at 8:00pm on the 1st Floor of the BLUU behind the Info Desk. You’ll choose a team based on your availability and get paired up with a dynamic duo of team leaders. In your team, you’ll brainstorm some wild events and start planning out the details that will bring your ideas to life and brighten someone’s day. Every week, we’re all here to relax, unwind, and have a good time while coming up with the next big thing for TCU.
The Period Project

The Period Project

Monday Nov 9 - Nov 22 | 8:30 am - 11:30 am

Period products such as tampons, pads, menstruation cups, wipes, etc. are a necessity for women, however, not all women are able to easily access these products. To help combat this, especially in the time of COVID-19, you can donate products to boxes located on campus or funds can be donated to SASW via Venmo @TCU-SASW-1. The boxes will be located at the following locations: Bass Hall – main floor and 2nd floor, the first floor of the BLUU (Campus Activities Office), Gender Resource Center located on the 2nd floor of Jarvis, and the 2nd floor of the Library at Reference/Access Services. TCU’s department of social work will be collecting donations for the Period Project starting October 22nd through November 22nd to benefit the women at True Worth Place.

César Chávez and Dolores Huerta Advocacy & Service Day at the TCC Trinity River Campus on Monday the 25th

Saturday Mar 30 | 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm

On March 25, the Fort Worth ISD will become the first school district in the state to honor the lives of Dolores Huerta and Cesar Chavez with a school holiday. However, the focus will be to allow students and others to spend a day in service to their community – not a “day off but rather a day on,” according to Board of Education Trustee Jacinto Ramos, Jr. A solidarity walk will then be held on March 20, 2019 on General Worth Square.
